Solid tantalum capacitors were first developed by Belle Laboratories in the United States in 1956. They have excellent performance and are one of the products with small volume that can achieve large capacitance among all capacitors. Tantalum capacitors have a variety of shapes and are easily made into small and chip components suitable for surface mounting. Adapted to the current needs of electronic technology automation and miniaturization development. Although tantalum raw materials are scarce and tantalum capacitors are expensive, due to the massive use of high specific capacitance tantalum powder (30KuF. g-100KuF. V/g), as well as the improvement and perfection of capacitor manufacturing process, tantalum electrolytic capacitor have been rapidly developed and increasingly used. Tantalum capacitors are not only widely used in military communication, aerospace and other fields, but also widely used in industrial control, film and television equipment, communication instruments and other products.
